Over the past week I took a 3-day course on Systems Administration in relation to Misys Summit FT (Front Tier). This was an enjoyable course. The rest of the week was spent eating doughnuts and reading about finance, particularly John C. Hull's Options, Futures, and Other Derivatives.

Algoks Ltd is a new company, for which the current remit is to produce algorithms for the direct marketing community using artificial intelligence (AI) and sophisticated statistical methods. In addition, the company aims to generate cost advantages for companies in the UK market by importing products from India.
